We can easily pick names, go shopping and meet back for some treats to exchange gifts all at Enchant Christmas. The Village is a nordic-inspired Christmas market with local vendors perfect for a speedy shopping mission. We are already planning a secret santa gift exchange for next year at Enchant Christmas DC. Let’s just say it was preferred to sitting around someone’s house trying to keep the kids from getting too wild after they had copious treats and were up past their bedtime. We didn’t stay together the entire time, but it was a natural flow of congregating, separating and congregating over hours. Our first visit to Enchant Christmas DC included Grandparents, Cousins and Aunts & Uncles. There are activities for everyone including toddlers and teenagers who are notoriously difficult to please simultaneously. We also love that there is something for all ages and preferences so it is a great opportunity for getting together with extended family. This all goes over well with our active bunch. There are many activities to keep us busy and very little sitting is required. For us that means spending time doing something together, preferably outside. It is important to us that we celebrate the magic and love of the holiday season with quality time. It is something we can come back to every year (because traditions are important to us) without getting bored. Enchant Christmas checks all the boxes for us. We have tried a bunch of holiday activities over the years and through our travels and Enchant Christmas is one of our favorites. It is a great option for getting together with family and friends over the holidays. Between the maze, skating and market, Enchant Christmas DC offers an experience that is fun for all ages. There are no real indoor places, but the cover of the stadium concourse provides enough shelter to fuel up and regroup when necessary. With winter weather as unpredictable as kids moods, having the flexibility to go from the cold to a place to warm up is great. While Enchant is new to Nashville, it's an event that's been growing since Founder Kevin Johnston's first public holiday light show in 2016 in his hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia.I LOVE that Enchant Christmas DC offers fun under the stars and also under cover. The Nashville Sounds' guitar-shaped scoreboard showered guests with gently falling digital snow while parents tried to keep up with kids running in multiple directions through the glow and sparkle of lights. It was a sneak-peek preview of the event, which officially opened Friday, and Enchant invited some 3,000 people involved with 30 local charities to experience the light maze, the massive illuminated reindeer, life-sized snowflakes, live elves and the 100-foot bright white Christmas tree. ![]() The first show, held in Vancouver, was so massively popular the city of Vancouver asked founder Kevin Johnston not to do it again, forcing him to find another venue.Įnchant opened its gates for the first time at First Horizon Park Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee, delighting thousands of kids of all ages. ![]() Enchant utilizes baseball parks for its wintertime venues. Now he's running nine shows in eight cities across the country. Enchant is the brainchild of Kevin Johnston who began stringing holiday lights for neighbors. ![]()
